National Blood Centre (NBC) is an organization located in Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur. The organization is responsible to supply, keep, and deliver blood to private and government hospitals in Malaysia. National Blood Centre needs to remind blood donors to donate blood at blood banks that are available throughout the country. Nevertheless, reminding blood donors using traditional method is expensive and might not reach to the desired target. Furthermore, to find the available donor in a critical situation, it consumes a lot time and will cause loss of live. The objective of this study are to analyze the most effective method to organize and create awareness towards blood donations. In addition, to design an application that increase user awareness to donate the blood every three month and encourage the donor to donate their blood. Furthermore, to develop an application that can reduce cost and time consuming to reach desired donors. The method being used is Haversine formula which is to calculate the distance between two points, the current location of the donor and blood bank which needs the blood based on their longitude and latitude. Technologies such as Global Positioning System (GPS), Google API and Android platform will be used in this project. By the end of this study, it is expected that the developed application can satisfy the organization in organizing their blood stock and reminding the donors about the campaign. Meanwhile, the donors can come to blood bank according to donation date or blood needed from the blood bank and they also can get many information of blood donation.

Mobile Application of Blood Donation Notification Based on Donor’s Location using Haversine Formula is developed to help the NBC to aware the citizen about the importance of blood donation. In this project, the donors will get notification of campaign held by blood bank that organized by NBC and the notification on urgent donation of blood needed from the blood bank when the blood stock is not enough. Besides that, the application will provide the next date of donation for the donors after a complete cycle of three month from the donation date. Moreover, the donor will get the additional information about the donation such as what are the criteria to be a donor, what must they do during and after the donation and other frequently asked questions about the donation. This application will use Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to track the donors according to the blood bank location which needs the blood and send the notification to donors.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, I hope that this project can be developed successfully and can achieve all the objectives of this system which is increase awareness of importance donation and reduce the cost and time consuming to reach the desired target. Moreover, I hope that it will be one of the effective methods to organize and deliver the blood information towards the citizen.
